We are pleased to announce that Zlatan Arnautovic has successfully passed his PhD examination at the LTTT. In his PhD thesis, Zlatan Arnautovic dealt with the evaporation of fluid mixtures.

His research focused on the further development of semi-empirical correlations for the prediction of nucleate boiling heat transfer. Mr. Arnautovic developed and implemented a vertical, electrically heated test section. The obtained measurement results in addition to comprehensive fluid property analyses gave fundamental insights that are of great importance for both science and industry.

The board of examiners consisting of Prof. Brüggemann (first examiner), Prof. Kabelac (second examiner, Leibniz University Hannover), Prof. Jess (additional examiner) and Prof. Helbig (examination chair), honored Mr. Arnautovic's outstanding work.
