Thermal storage for data centers

Under the heading "Current and future energy storage technologies for the data center industry", around 70 participants discussed innovative solutions at the ZET of the University of Bayreuth.
Following presentations on the technical implementation and economic viability of various storage technologies, current obstacles, opportunities and cooperation options were identified in the form of a World Cafe.
Finally, Marco Griesbach and Dr. Florian Heberle gave a tour of the combined heat pump-ice energy storage system at the ZET.
