Since April 2020 Andreas Mittereder, M.Sc. has been working on a project funded by the Bayerisches Landesamt für Umwelt. The aim of this project is to investigate the effects of airborne pollutants on insects. The project aims to contribute to a better understanding of the potential negative effects of traffic-related particulate matter.

In addition, Mr. Mittereder supports the team of the Center of Energy Technology (ZET) in teaching and by supervising the use of analytical equipment related to the topic, such as the FT-IR/Raman spectrometer in the ZET Keylabs in the TAO building.
