Since March 2020, Mr. Joe Ogorure (M.Eng.) has been supporting the LTTT in a project financed by the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) and the Petroleum Technology Development Fund (Nigeria). His research work at the LTTT is focused on the potential of renewable, sustainable and affordable energy conversion systems. The aim of the project is to investigate and evaluate the resource-efficient energy supply in rural areas without access to the grid and taking into account the local energy demand. The focus is on the use of bio-syngas in thermal power plants.
