At the beginning of February, the Center of Energy Technology welcomed a delegation of the OTH Amberg-Weiden and the New Technologies Research Centre Pilsen (NTC) at the University of Bayreuth. The NTC consists of experts for CFD simulation, who apply these competences especially in the field of ORC turbines. For this reason, a visit to the research power plant at the Department of Engineering Thermodynamics and Transport Processes took place. In addition to the visit, all participants had the opportunity for an intensive exchange on ORC technology and approaches for a possible future collaboration.
